Why We Chose New Age Outdoor Kitchen Cabinets?
We did not have anything in the backyard, which we have slowly built over the years to make the space usable.
So, before this new kitchen we only owned a grill that we moved around based on our preference.
But we had no space for grill equipments, paper plates or anything else.

Delivery & Installation Process
These cabinets came fully setup, so you don’t need to assemble them in anyway just like any kitchen cabinet stores.
This made our lives easier.
The only thing our contractor did was setting them up on our deck, making sure that they are all aligned properly for the countertop to fit properly.
This reduces labor charges on cabinet installation or if you are building the cabinets with stone, wood or anything.
Material & Durability
These cabinets are made of stainless steel which is the most durable material when it comes to moisture and other weather factors.
Our New Age kitchen cabinets have seen two winters already, yup its been over 2 years since we built our outdoor space. And last winter was the toughest winter for us with heavy rain.
And rain can cause erosion on stainless products. But our kitchen cabinets have done pretty well.
We did build a custom cover for the kitchen to keep everything inside dry, but sometimes the heavy storm blew it away. But the cabinets had no leaks inside and I don’t see any corrosion.

Look & Feel
Let’s face it, if you want to build an outdoor kitchen, 60% of the time it is a want and not a need. So, overall all aesthetic of how your outdoor kitchen will look like is important.

- We have black deck and the deck planks are narrow which look similar to the groove cabinet doors. This would have made the kitchen space appear busy and not cohesive.
- We needed low maintenance and easy to clean cabinets. And because of the smooth surface, we can easily clean these cabinets.
- Since our deck was black we wanted our countertop to be white. But white cabinets would be high maintenance, and these became an easier choice.
- We wanted a clean finish after assembly.
Overall Thoughts
We were able to get our kitchen cabinets ready in 3 weeks which is a record time. The delay was getting the countertop setup, but otherwise, once you get all the cabinets, its a matter of days you will have a kitchen ready to use in the summer.
And we cook almost 2 – 3 times a week all summer in our outdoor kitchen.
We also managed to add audio system which we store in one of the cabinets, so enjoying our outdoor space all weekend or even on week nights when we want to have a grilled meal feels effortless.
And because we have the sink space, prepping and cleaning becomes easy.
The cabinet also has built in ice chest and since we already have a bar space, we didn’t ned to add a cooler.
Because of the durability of the cabinet, I think this was the best decision we made in terms of our kitchen cabinets.
